How do I Convert Fonts to Outlines or Paths?
When submitting a file for printing, fonts need to be converted to outlines/curves or paths whenever possible. This eliminates problems with embedding fonts when the file is .pdfed and if you are sending the native file it eliminates the need to send along the fonts. Converting fonts is easily done in programs like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark. Just search under the help menu in your program for more detailed instructions on how to outline your fonts.
